Qatar TV-Sender

Qatar Television, (Arabic: تلفزيون قَطَر‎); abbreviated as Qatar TV or QTV), is a Qatar Government owned public service national television channel in Qatar which is owned and run by Qatar General Broadcasting and Television Corporation.

The channel broadcasts various programmes including news, economical bulletins, documentaries, religious programmes and entertainment. Launched in August 1970, QTV was the first television network to produce and transmit its own programmes in the country.

Programmes were aired every day for three to four hours with a 50 kW transmitter. In 1974, it began transmitting color broadcasts. It had a monopoly on television audience until 1993, when Qatar Cablevision began broadcasting satellite channels. Despite the broadening of television offerings, Qatar TV remains popular amongst locals.

Al Jazeera Arabic (Arabic: الجزيرة‎, romanized: al-jazīrah, IPA: [æl (d)ʒæˈziːrɑ], literally "The Island", though referring to the Arabian Peninsula in context) is a Qatari state-funded broadcaster in Doha, Qatar, owned by the Al Jazeera Media Network.

Al Jazeera Balcanes ( AJB ) is an international television news station. It broadcasts from Sarajevo , Bosnia and Herzegovina , directed to the public located in the countries of the former RFS Yugoslavia .

Al Kass One is part of Al Kass Sports Channels, a group of eight sports channels that are broadcast 24/7 from Qatar. Its official name is Al Dawri wal Kass (Arabic: قناة الدوري والكأس‎), which means The League and the Cup in Arabic, since it was initially launched to broadcast domestic football in Qatar.

The eight channels of Al-Kass are numbered from one to eight. Starting from 2013, four of its eight channels (Al-Kass 3/6/7/8) are encrypted with beIN Channels Network Qatari pay-tv network and these encrypted channels are specified to broadcasting matches of AFC Champions League and AFC Cup.

Baraem TV (براعم) is a satellite television station from Doha, Qatar. providing Children's Educational shows. As part of Al Jazeera Children's Channel (JCC), Baraem TV produces and airs Arab educational entertainment shows for children and their family.

Baraem (Arabic: براعم‎) (meaning: buds) is a Qatari pay television channel aimed at kids. The channel caters for children between the ages of 3 and 6 years old, presenting programs specifically tailored for this age-group. It was launched on 16 January 2009,[2] and broadcasts 17 hours daily. It is no longer free to view on Hot Bird. JEEM Europe and Baraem Europe left Hot Bird in June 2018. Programming for older children is broadcast on sister channel JeemTV.
